Sinus lift
Sinus lifting is a surgery to increase the volume of bone tissue in the upper jaw to provide sufficient bone for dental implant placement.
The operation is divided into three stages. Initially, an incision is made in the gum and bone tissue. Then, the sinus membrane is detached. After lifting the membrane, the resulting cavity is filled with osteoplastic material, which can include both natural and synthetic components. Our clinic's specialists perform each stage using quality anesthesia, making the operation completely painless for the patient.
TYPES OF SINUS LIFTING
Open sinus lifting
01An incision is made in the area of the missing tooth.
02A tissue flap is retracted to the side.
03A hole is drilled in the jawbone above the missing tooth area to provide access to the sinus.
04Bone-forming material is inserted and tamped into the sinus cavity.
05The wound is closed with a resorbable material and sutured.
Closed sinus lifting
01An incision in the gum is made directly at the site of the missing tooth
02A hole is drilled from the bottom up at the site of the removed tooth, making the sinus accessible from below.
03Bone-forming material is introduced through the hole into the sinus cavity.
