DENTAL PROSTHETICS
Dental prosthetics can help a person restore chewing function, allow freely speaking and smiling. Modern materials and the latest technologies make it possible to recreate the structure and moist shine of enamel so accurately that an artificial tooth (crown) will not differ from the adjacent healthy teeth. Often, it is not as scary as it seems, and it is possible to manage with the installation of dental veneers.
Main Stages
When selecting the most suitable method of dental prosthetics for a patient, the doctor must consider the following factors:

Types of Prosthetics
– Fixed (the artificial construction is in the oral cavity for the entire service life of the prosthesis). Fixed prostheses are secured in the oral cavity using titanium implants, which allows preserving healthy teeth from grinding and extending the service life of the construction. The roots of healthy teeth, previously depulped, can also serve as support. However, there is a risk of rapid loosening of the support roots, shortening the service life of the construction.
There is also micro-prosthetics – a way to save damaged teeth by using special inlays that are manufactured based on impressions taken from the remnants of the tooth crown. A part of the crown is manufactured based on the impressions, which is then fixed similarly to a filling.
