Installation of aligners
Aligners (or caps for correcting occlusion) are a removable transparent structure that is placed in the oral cavity to correct the dental arch.
They are almost invisible on the teeth, making them aesthetically preferable to braces. If you want to correct your occlusion with aligners, come for a consultation with an orthodontic dentist at the Millennium Clinic.
Indications and Contraindications
Indications for aligner treatment:
01Minor tooth misalignments.

05Increased gum sensitivity that prevents the placement of braces.
06Intolerance to materials used in manufacturing brace systems.
07Need to secure the effect after wearing braces.
Contraindications for aligner treatment:
01Acute periodontitis.

Principle of Operation
Only an orthodontic dentist can prescribe occlusion correction with aligners after conducting special computer diagnostics.
Aligners are made from synthetic material custom-ordered. When placed in the oral cavity, such a model exerts certain pressure on the teeth, facilitating their movement and correcting the occlusion. Since aligners do not contain metal, they do not rub the gums and do not damage the enamel.
Hygiene
Aligners are easy to care for, however, there are some rules to enhance their effectiveness:
1
The structure should be worn constantly, only removing it when eating.
2
Thoroughly clean your teeth before putting on the structure.
3
Rinse aligners in cool water and clean with a soft brush.
4
Do not soak aligners in tooth solutions.
